Ze’s Diner is looking for an experienced, dependable, and hardworking Breakfast Line Cook to join our kitchen team ASAP. We’re a locally loved retro-style diner known for hearty portions, fast service, and Breakfast All Day.
Ze’s Diner is looking for an experienced, dependable, and hardworking Breakfast Line Cook to join our kitchen team ASAP. We’re a locally loved retro-style diner known for hearty portions, fast service, and Breakfast All Day.
We need someone who can handle a busy breakfast line, stay organized under pressure, and take pride in putting out great food every shift. If you love cooking and enjoy working with a strong team in a high-energy diner environment, we’d love to meet you.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook breakfast and diner favorites according to Ze’s Diner standards
- Cook eggs, omelets, pancakes, hash browns, burgers, and other menu items efficiently during busy shifts
- Maintain high food quality and presentation standards
- Keep stations clean, organized, stocked, and ready for service
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
- Operate grills, fryers, slicers, and kitchen equipment safely
- Communicate and work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house team
- Help with prep work, inventory, stocking, and kitchen organization
- Assist with opening and closing kitchen duties
- Support and train new kitchen staff when needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working as a cook in a diner or fast-paced restaurant kitchen
- Strong breakfast cooking experience is REQUIRED
- Ability to multitask and stay calm during rushes
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Knowledge of food safety and kitchen sanitation standards
- ServeSafe or Food Handler Certification is a plus
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
Pay
$20–$24 per hour
Based on experience and performance.
